Vote Tours Music Festival (NYIMF) was founded in 2003 by entertainment impresario Frankie Munoz. The festival is fast becoming one of the largest exhibitions of innovative musical talent in the US. The festival runs to provide a platform for music industry executives to discover emerging talent. Signed and unsigned artists from all over the world have the chance to compete for awards, showcase their talents and network with A&R executives, music journalists, talent scouts and managers, casting agents and filmmakers. Musical genres represented include, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap, Reggae, Dance, Experimental, Gospel and much more.

Vote Tours is aggressively publicized through newspapers, magazines, television, radio, the Internet and via our promotional street team. Members of the music and film industries are invited to attend as our VIP's to participate in all our enjoyable, live showcases, parties and panels. The Vote Tours has garnered positive media coverage in Newsday, Time Out, True Magazine, Melt Magazine, L. Magazine, New York Waste, The Irish Voice, The New York Resident, MTV, Access Hollywood and many more news journals around the world. Many of our performers have attracted the attention of music journalists and have generated media coverage in Newspapers, Magazines and Radio due to the exposure they received from our festival. The music festival has grown rapidly and to keep up with the high demand, its key cities are New York and Las Vegas. Each festival event kicks off with a huge opening night networking party for artists. Soloists and Groups have the opportunity to network and perform in front of influential members of the entertainment industry. Participants also get an opportunity to network with members of the music and film industry as well as promoting their music for movie scores, sound tracks and record deals. Although there are no live performances on opening night, artists are invited to pass out their CD's and media kits and secure interviews with local television crews. The whole spectrum of the music press and industry are invited to attend. Our highly successful spring festival in New York welcomed executives from Sony Music, Universal, Atlantic Records, MTV, VH-1, RCA, Virgin, Bad Boy Entertainment, Interscope, Elektra, Jive, ICM, The William Morris Agency, Rolling Stone, Vibe, Complex, Billboard and Source to name a few.

The festival is augmented with a series of important panels and seminars designed to give participants a deeper understanding of the many facets of the music business. The seminars include a Q&A session and this has proved enormously beneficial for participants at every level. Speakers comprise Label Executives, A&R Scouts, Marketing/PR specialists, Entertainment Lawyers, Distributors, Publishers, Talent Managers/Scouts. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend and distribute demos and press kit to panelists.
